AGE OF OMENS

Age of Omens is a story-driven, multiplayer RPG created by one person, that provides it's players with an open-world experience in a stunning 64x64 Km surface world of mountains and ancient forests, and will eventually include (for free) an entire procedural underworld dungeon system that can be re-configured at the server host's discretion. 

While being an "open world" game, the environment of HyBrasil forces players through a story-line progression across the map, that gets increasingly dangerous the farther you travel. 

A dynamic series of story-line quests filled with riddles, puzzles, and impossible beasts, will take the player though the mists of time, revealing many recent discoveries about our ancient past.  Be the first to progress far enough to find out what awaits in the dark zone.

Impactful, story-line decisions that will ultimately choose which faction you fight for... or choose to roam the wilderness in secret as a ranger, the choice is yours, but once it is made, there is no going back.


Fulfill monster contracts, raid settlements, solve riddles, and unlock the mysteries of HyBrasil and our hidden past. 

Play co-op with friends over the Steam gaming network, host a server (coming soon) or go it alone.. The choice is yours..

Weapon driven combat system.

Using a cutting-edge "per-bone" accuracy melee damage system, the melee combat in Age of Omens is designed to be fast-paced, unique, and most of all, FUN!

I have tried to balance fantasy style combat with many realistic fighting lunges and defences to provide a mix of both fluidity and the true first person feeling of combat.

Utilizing some of the most cutting-edge GPU and CPU driven particle effects that Unreal4 has to offer, I have hand designed each spell (many more to come!) to give you the feeling of magical power that I personally have always wanted in an open world, multiplayer game.

Hunting, fishing, and survival.

While being a story-driven RPG at heart, Age of Omens also surrounds it's players in a deep AI ecosystem of realistic animals as well as deadly fantasy monsters of legend to tackle. 

 

A unique crafting system utilizes each of the creatures for a valuable resource and some, you will find, are very difficult to track down and or kill. 

 

Despite focusing on glitch-free, accurate and fair PvP, I also seek to provide intense AI/Creature hunting quests along with the need to seek and take rare prey for valuable crafting parts. 

Because the entire economy system relies on player2player trade, you will always find a need for the lone-ranger who preffers to hunt alone, or large hunting parties that seek bigger-than-usual game which requires group participation.
